The
storyboard is developed with the concept
in mind. Creativity plays a major
role at this stage. A frame-by-frame
concept and flow of animation, with
characters and background is developed.
MODELING
Character
sketches are translated into the computer
for use in 3D animation. They may
be scanned models that need extensive
clean up. Many software packages and
translation programs are used for
thsi purpose.
TEXTURING
Involves
giving textures and shades to models
or objects to give a realistic look
and feel to them. Models are given
characteristics like that of wood
or metal, water or glass which have
properties like reflection and refraction,
transparency and highlight.
CAMERAS & LIGHTING
Lighting
and close relationships with the Shading
and Textures area are developed. Realistic
camera movements are created and matched
with live action shots. Constant research
of new techniques keeps advancing
this field.
ANIMATION
Encompasses
all that is expected to breathe life
into an object. Involves constant
usage of all the elements that make
animation a skill. Animators work
on multiple platforms with many High-end
programs. The most crucial process
in 3D animation.
RENDERING
Several
Techniques are used to give surfaces
reality and unreality.
VISUAL FX
Advanced
software and programs are used to
create lifelike and fantastic effects.
Creating Visual FX requires maximum
skill development.
